Project Description

DrRoberts1DONNA ROBERTS, MD believes that, while medicine is a science, its practice is an art, and that you, as a patient and patron of that art, deserve the best in knowledge, judgment and compassion from your physician. She brings that philosophy to Peachtree City Physicians’s Group, along with twenty years of experience in all aspects of family and internal medicine. She has practiced at Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs and most recently at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital on Collier Road. In her previous practice she was voted “most compassionate” physician multiple times by her patients. In her Peachtree City practice, she continues to pursue her special interests in heart disease prevention for men and women, and preventative as well as problem-focused healthcare for all ages. Most importantly, she strives to provide a quality of personalized care to her patients that has been all but lost in today’s medical system.

Having a superior academic record, Dr. Roberts began college at age 16, and her interests in chemistry and healthcare led her to obtain a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia. Realizing that she wanted to be more intimately involved in patient care, she soon earned her doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. After residency training at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham in 1996, she received her board certification from the American Board of Family Physicians, and has retained board certification throughout her career.

In her spare time, Donna and her husband Arthur enjoy outdoor activities with their two Labrador Retrievers, Forrest and Lilly. They are avid birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. She is a dedicated SEC football fan and weekend athlete and has participated in multiple 10Ks, half marathons, and triathlons over the years. She and Arthur are both natives of Savannah, Georgia and enjoy spending time visiting parents, family and friends.
